Registration is $1400. The tournament is being operated by S|E|A -- Atlantic Canada's top sports and events management company. This will be a first-class tournament from amenities, facilities and opportunities

Where do teams stay?

All players, coaches and personnel must stay at Acadia University, and will be housed on-campus in the dormitory facilities. Meals will be provided daily at the food hall on campus (3 meals per day). The total for each individual is $110 per day for food and accommodations, across 4 days.

Why Acadia University?

The tournament provides a true university experience for youth, and a taste of campus life. Many university scouts and coaches will be in attendance, and the tournament brings top footballers from across the country to showcase themselves in a focused, supportive, and safe campus environment. Acadia University has a long-history in sports, and their women's soccer team made an appearance at U Sports Nationals in 2021, and the campus hosted the U Sports Men's National Hockey Finals in 2022.

What is the quality of teams attending?

The tournament is by invitation only with 8 teams per division being recruited from across Canada. The concept is to create opportunities annually for elite domestic competition with east-west pathways developing across Canada. Teams will be at a level of competing for provincial finals, at a minimum in their home province, and should be a competitive standard nationally against any club in their age group. We have two Atlantic Canadian Canada Games squads who will also participate locally.

Why is a deposit required?

This is a professional level tournament that will run annually, and for planning purposes deposits are required for teams to reserve their spots within the tournament.

Our team wants to arrive early and train?

Teams are welcome to arrive early and book turf or grass fields to train while staying at Acadia University and exploring the sights of the famous Annapolis Valley. Halifax is a short 50 min drive away, with many beaches, restaurants and pubs and outdoor activities to visit in the area.

Who is organizing the event?

Sports Entertainment Atlantic (S|EA) is the event management partner, and will be providing all event logistics. Destination Acadia is the housing and food partner. There is no relationship whatsoever with Acadia Athletics. T+T Events is a registered corporation and owns the rights to the Canada Youth Cup.

Are the fields and facilities close to the accommodations and meals?

The on-campus housing is literally a 5 minute walk to the fields, so you can park your vehicle for the weekend, and walk everywhere you need to go.
